Antetype Web have designed this website with ease of use in mind. The site conforms to W3C Accessibility guidelines. We are always seeking to improve the accessibility of our site, so if there is an issue that you feel we have neglected, or if you wish to provide feedback, please contact us.

Web Standards

Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict

Each page on this site has been coded to validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict, ensuring greater compatibility with browsers. The CSS validates as CSS 2.0.

Valid CSS

All pages on this site use well-structured, semantic markup. H1 tags are used for main titles, H2 tags for subtitles.

Text Size

This site uses relative text sizes where possible. This allows the user to increase or decrease the size of the text in the browser. Antetype Web are aware that some of the text size cannot be changed at present, and are looking for ways to improve this.

Visual Styles

This website makes use of CSS to enhance the visual style of the pages. If you have CSS styles disabled in your browser, or your browser does not support CSS, the content of site will still be readable. It just won't look as nice!

The Use of Images

Images are present on this website. All images will contain a descriptive ALT tag, unless they are used for decoration only.

The Use of Javascript

This website uses makes use of Javascript to provide added functionality and enhance visual styles. However, it has been designed to degrade gracefully, ie disabling javascript or using a browser that does not support Javascript will not affect the accessing of content or the general functioning of the site.

The site makes use of breadcrumbs to provide you with a visual reference of what level of the site you are on, and allows you to easily navigate to the previous level.

Navigation to these main sections can be found at both the top and bottom of the page. Sub-navigation within these sections can be found in the left-hand column, situated next to the main content.

The Use of Links

The links contained in this site will make use of the TITLE tag to provide more information about the link, unless the text already describes the link adequately. Links which open a new window or tab in the browser will explicitly say so.
